Sanity Fair is a fabulous FREE festival organised, by the Media Action Group for Mental Health, which is now celebrating it's 8th year - and you're all invited to come along! Join us at 12 noon on Saturday 14th June in Hanley's Cultural Quarter in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent City Centre.

It’s a wonderful opportunity for the people of North Staffs to see behind the myths of mental distress, and mental health issues in general. It’s a party where everyone is invited and everyone will be made welcome.

The overall aim of the Sanity Fair street festival in the Cultural Quarter of Stoke-on-Trent, is to promote and explore the positive aspects of mental health, as well as showcasing some work going on in local services. We take a fun approach to what is a very serious issue.

There are few, if any, street festivals like Sanity Fair, where people of all ages can join in the fun and festive atmosphere to celebrate the contribution made to the community by people with first hand experience of mental distress. Sanity Fair is an event that will enable people who live with the experience of mental distress an opportunity to celebrate their contributions to the community and enable the wider community to meet with and gain an understanding of their needs and the service provision available.
